Sunday, March 16th, 2008 - Northridge, CA:  Congratulations go out to Wayne Smith who flicked his way to victory in one of the more rip-roaring ASA Opens ever held by the Southern California Subbuteo Club. Going undefeated throughout the tournament, "Werder" Wayne beat Steve Tucker 5-2 in an exciting Open Final match. The day was rife with peculiarities as there were several stranded keepers, bizarre goals, tremendous saves, a few controversies, and one gloved flicking hand.
