Maryland SC member Rob Tucker and his son Cameron joined the Southern California Subbuteo Club regulars for their second ASA Open of 2008.

The final came down to a rematch of the January 2007 tournament’s final, and this time Wayne Smith beat Rob by only one goal.

Munir Merchant finishing in second place in Group A and reaching the semi finals was a pleasant surprise, as he only started playing this year and was competing in his first Open tournament.

Ian Sayer, also competing in his first ASA tournament, beat Kevin Nieman in the Mary Jane final.
