This photo will give you some idea what a Subbuteo table looks like. Subbuteo is soccer in miniature. Players "flick" miniature "figures" across a field made of felt. Notice that the figures are not set in a traditional 4-4-2 soccer formation. The reason is that Subbuteo figures can be flicked across long distances to maintain possession or to make blocking flicks.
