FISTF America Cup 2010 - Washington D.C. - February 20, 2010

The Washington Tuesday Subbuteo League (WTSL) is happy to announce that the third annual FISTF America Cup will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Hyattsville, MD.  This tournament will be an FISTF Continental Championship for North America.  The tournament will tentatively start promptly at 9:30am and will be a one day event that will feature the following categories:  Team and Open.  The tournament will be held at a brand new sports bar/restaurant just outside of the beltway.  Many thanks to Dewey LaRochelle for securing the venue and great food/drink specials.  The venue is:

Old Dominion Brewhouse – UTC
6504 America Blvd. #105
Hyattsville, MD 20782

http://utcolddominionbrewhouse.com/home.html

We have the entire back of the restaurant.  We might draw some groupies from the regular customers.

Cost will be $20, which will include lunch (choice of about 15-20 items from the weekday lunch menu), drinks, tip, trophy and ASA fees (Extra food is on you).  We have access to the entire weekday lunch menu rather than the higher priced weekend menu.  The parking is all garages around there.  I don’ t know what they charge, but it is pretty reasonable.

They will open for set up at 9 for us.

Oh, Happy Hour on Saturday starts at 4.  We should be done right about then.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or reply here, otherwise we look forward to seeing you all here in Washington D.C. and don't forget to hurry up and register by emailing us or posting here!

Hope to see you all there!
